March 22, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #9 Title APPROVAL OF THE CONTRACT BETWEEN WJK EDUCATION CONSULTING AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA Description The district currently contracts for leadership and professional development services to support Sarasota County's Leadership Academy, the ExCEL leadership program and other related training programs. Additional services are necessary to provide professional development training sessions for our charter school leaders. This contract together with other department contracts, increases the aggregate dollar amount and requires School Board approval. Grant funds will be used to cover the leadership development services. Recommendation That the contract between WJK Education Consulting and the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida be approved as presented.
